Without it, data reporting tools will work but you won\u2019t see any data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Which database do I need access to? Almost everyone should start with this form: Reporting Database Access \u2013 Student Data (includes sensitive student information)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For all other database access requests, search for these titles on the IT Service Items Catalog webpage. If you haven\u2019t already, use the link under the \u201c#1 Database Access\u201d tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To view many of the data dashboards at EWU, you will need Tableau access. Requesting access to Tableau using the link below is for the free version of Tableau.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most data users at EWU should find the free version of Tableau meet their needs. For most, this role will meet your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you need any institutional data or a specific data report but aren\u2019t sure if a reporting tool dashboard (like Argos, Tableau, etc.) already exists for your data \u2013 or where to find them if they do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PLEASE CONTACT US \u2013 WE CAN HELP!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Things to consider:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Report Writing in Argos requires learning a new set of skills \u2013 and will likely take more time and effort than you can spare.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personnel in the Office of Institutional Research (IR) have been trained in Argos report writing. Instead of <em>learning<\/em> report writing, why not let IR write your data report?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It\u2019s likely someone has already requested the same (or similar) data.
