Dr. Gina Petrie
Director of Global Student Services

Gina is an experienced international educator and English as a Second Language professor. She manages all international student recruitment and admissions, international partnerships, campus internationalization and oversees international student services. Gina helps support study abroad and is the CHEPD 1+2+1 exchange senior administrator.
Gina loves spending time with her family and her two dogs. In the summer, she enjoys swimming at the lake and watching wildlife. The rest of the year you can find her reading—especially non-fiction—and researching her family's history.

Kristina Guilfoyle

Kristina serves as the Faculty Director for all of EWU Global's short-term programs, study abroad, the National Student Exchange, the English Language Institute, and the Asia University America Program.
Kristina loves to travel, has been to over twelve different countries, and lived in Japan for five years. She loves Japanese ramen, Marvel movies, and cuddling with her animals.

Madelyn Roy, MSW
Student Equity & Belonging Coordinator

Madelyn helps to create programs and events as the EWU Global Program Coordinator that aim to supprt international students and forge social and educational connections all over campus.
Madelyn recently graduated from EWU and is excited to continue to work on campus. When they are not at work, they are spending time with their senior pets, painting, or planning their next travel adventure.

Isadora Anderson
Study Abroad Advisor

Isadora Anderson works in the Global Studies office as a Study Abroad Advisor. She helps students find study abroad programs across the globe and assists them during the application process. Interested in spending a semester, summer or even full academic year abroad? Stop by her office to find out more!
Isadora received her undergraduate degree in German Studies and has lived in both Germany and Austria. She’s spent the past few years working for the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington D.C. before moving to Spokane to pursue a graduate degree in creative writing. She loves science fiction, her two brothers and salted caramel.

Jimena Ramos
Student Ambassador

As a student ambassador, Jimena supports international students by encouraging them to get involved in campus and in the community. Jimena wants to ensure that international students feel welcomed at EWU.
Jimena enjoy spending time with her family and friends. One of her favorite things to watch is the Netflix series Money Heist. She also enjoys baking and one of her favorite things to make is churro cheesecake. Jimena would like to travel to Europe in the future.
