Their event will include a reading, Q&amp;A and book signing at 7:00pm on April 14, 2016.*<\/p>\n<p>All readings are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Authors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Paul Harding<\/span> is the author of two novels about multiple generations of a New England family: the Pulitzer Prize-winning\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blpress.org\/books\/tinkers\/\"><em>Tinkers<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/paulharding.authorsites.randomhouse.com\/\"><em>Enon<\/em>.<\/a>\u00a0A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, he was a drummer for the band Cold Water Flat before earning his MFA from the Iowa Writers\u2019 Workshop. Harding has also received a Guggenheim Fellowship and was a fiction fellow at the Fine Arts Center in Provincetown. He now lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two sons.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Nance Van Winckel<\/span>, originally from Roanoke, Virginia, has lived in Spokane, Washington since 1990. She graduated from Columbus High School in Wisconsin and from the University of Wisconsin\u2014Milwaukee. She received her M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Denver. Van Winckel has recently published her sixth book of poetry, <em>Pacific Walkers<\/em>, which was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award, and <em>Ever Yrs<\/em>, a novel told in the form of a scrapbook.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Books<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Harding will be reading from his latest novel, <em>Enon<\/em>. The novel is narrated by Charlie Crosby<a href=\"http:\/\/getlitfestival.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/harding-enon.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2307\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2307 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/getlitfestival.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/harding-enon-205x300.jpg\" alt=\"harding enon\" width=\"151\" height=\"221\" \/><\/a>, the grandson and great-grandson of the two main characters from Harding\u2019s Pulitzer Prize winning debut novel, <em>Tinkers<\/em>. The novel follows Charlie in the aftermath of the death of his 13 year old daughter. Named one of the best novels of the year, <em>Enon<\/em> has been called \u201cExtraordinary . . . a darkly intoxicating read . . .
