Grove<\/a>, whose 2014 debut for middle-grade readers, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglasssentence.com\/\"><em>The Glass Sentence<\/em><\/a>, was an Indiebound and New York Times Bestseller. Its sequel, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglasssentence.com\/#book\">The Golden Specific<\/a><\/em>, was published this summer and continues the 19th century oceanfaring adventures of young protagonists Sophia and Theo. The book was called a \u201cdelicious blend of magic, history, and science\u201d by School Library Journal and \u201cbrilliant in concept, breathtaking in scale and stellar in its worldbuilding\u201d by Kirkus Reviews.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The author will read from her work and talk about her inspiration for the books, as well as take questions from the audience.
