Sponsor Get Lit!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As part of Eastern Washington University<\/strong><\/a>,<\/strong> we receive office space, computers, partial funding for salary and benefits for one-full time staff position, and historically, a stipend for one graduate student assistant. We are grateful to EWU\u2019s College of Arts, <\/strong><\/a>Humanities, and Social Sciences<\/strong> for that support. Every year we seek sponsorship from university programs and departments, community partners, local businesses, and individual donors. These sponsorships help pay for all festival expenses including author honorariums, venues, marketing campaigns, posters, bookmarks, festival merch, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Interested in volunteering for the Get Lit! Festival? With 60+ authors taking part in 40+ events, we need all the help we can get! Our volunteers help us prepare for events, staff our information tables, sell merch, direct attendees to events, introduce authors, and more. Intern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

College students from local colleges and universities are encouraged to apply for an internship with Get Lit! Programs. Our internship provides valuable experience with content writing, editing, design work, event planning, grant writing, social media management, marketing and public relations, community outreach, and more. Submissions for 2027 are currently closed. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From May 1 – September 1, we take submissions at getlit.submittable.com<\/a> from authors looking to participate in festival events AND from organizations who would like to be part of our book fair. <\/strong>Check back in May to submit your event!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
