Shelby Handler is a writer, organizer and educator living in Seattle on Duwamish land. Recent poems have appeared in Poetry Northwest, PANK Magazine, The Journal, Sugar House Review, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, among others. Shelby was nominated for 2020's Best of the Net and was a finalist for Palette Poetry’s Emerging Poet Prize, judged by Ilya Kaminsky. They are an MFA candidate and Robinovitch Fellow at the University of Washington.
