The Japanese American Citizens League was founded in 1929 and is the largest Asian American civil rights organization in the United States. Its mission is the ongoing security and maintenance of the civil rights of Japanese American and all others who are victimized by bigotry and injustice.
We thank the Spokane Chapter of the JACL for their continued support and collaboration. This year, The JACL has generously sponsored local writer Lauren Harris, who will be presenting two events at Wishing Tree Books on Sunday afternoon.
