Emmy Newman is a second-year MFA candidate in poetry at the University of Idaho. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Poetry Northwest, Yemassee, New Ohio Review, Cream City Review, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the 2020 Bryn Lunde Memorial Scholarship from Fishtrap and her work has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes. She currently serves as poetry editor for Fugue.
