DESCRIPTION:Three Spokane novelists meet in the Inland Northwest Special Collections room to discuss their books set in Spokane\, ‘The Strange Beautiful\,’ ‘Fire Season\,’ and ‘The Sasquatch Hunter’s Almanac.’ \nCarla Crujido\, author of The Strange Beautiful\, Leyna Krow\, author of Fire Season\, and Sharma Shields\, author of The Sasquatch Hunter’s Almanac\, will meet in the Inland Northwest Special Collections room to discuss setting their stories and novels in Spokane. Archivist and Special Collections Librarian Dana Bronson will present items related to the subject matter and research for these titles. Following the event\, there will be an option to join the authors at the Historic Davenport Hotel for a social hour. \nAuntie’s Bookstore will sell copies of the authors’ books! \nPlease note: No food or beverages are allowed in the Inland Northwest Special Collections. \nBy attending library programs\, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media. \nWe strive to make events welcoming for people of all abilities.
