The September Caregiver Connection has some great information for all our caregivers – You do not want to miss the lead story about the Seattle Aquarium! The Aquarium has created a partnership with Children’s Administration that provides free entrance to the Aquarium to share the wonders of the undersea world with children living in out-of-home care. The Aquarium now offers free entrance for foster parents or relative caregivers and up to 5 children. Whether you are a licensed foster parent, a relative caring for dependent children placed by Children’s Administration, or a relative who is providing full time care to relative children living in your home (this does not include babysitting, weekend or summer care of children) this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss! Learn more about obtaining the needed ID card (if you don’t already have one).
Many thanks to the staff and management at the Seattle Aquarium for your support of children and their caregivers in our communities across the state!
