This funding opportunity is designed to support initiatives that enhance the student experience by advancing academic success, engagement, and overall student satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty are encouraged to develop innovative proposals that align with the university\u2019s strategic priorities and reflect a commitment to serving a diverse student population. Please review the RFP announcement and accompanying materials for full details and submit proposals by May 10, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Priorities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The primary priorities of this funding are to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhance support systems for student learning and engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster and assess research-based innovative instructional practices and learning experiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop programs that support the diverse academic and personal needs of EWU students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build collaborations across departments and disciplines to design and team-teach courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expand beginning student experiences through research, creative works, or service-learning exposure opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create faculty training or specialized modules that support and enhance faculty performance or instructional delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Proposal Focus Areas<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals should address one or more of the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Academic and Advising Support<\/strong>: Enhancements to tutoring, advising, mentoring, or other academic support initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Student Engagement<\/strong>: Programs designed to increase student involvement, retention, and connection with campus life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Learning Environments<\/strong>: Improvement or development of facilities, technology, and resources that elevate the learning experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Faculty-Student Research\/Creative Works and Collaboration<\/strong>: Opportunities for hands-on learning and student involvement in faculty-led research projects.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Proposal Submission Requirements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Proposal Narrative<\/strong>: up to 2 double-spaced pages detailing the project\u2019s objectives, plan\/method, timeline, and anticipated outcomes.
