SUMMARY:Letter of Recommendation Writing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Lamm will conduct a workshop open to all faculty interested in constructing more inclusive recommendation letters. Recommendation letters are incredibly important for students applying to graduate school and the workforce. Studies have shown that recommendation letters reinforce gender schema that tends to portray women as teachers and students\, and men as researchers and professionals. This can have unintended consequences for our students.
