SUMMARY:General Education Workshop: Introduction and Information Literacy
DESCRIPTION:Please join the discussion and share your thoughts on implementation of General Education reform at EWU. General Education reform changes are in place for this year’s incoming class and can be retroactively applied to student that started EWU in 2016. Our open discussion will introduce the changes that have been passed by EWU Faculty Senate and the timeline for implementation. The discussion will also include one of the six outcomes\, Information Literacy (https://www.aacu.org/leap/essential-learning-outcomes). General Education reform will include shared outcomes that will help piece the great teaching of our Eastern Faculty into a cohesive General Education experience for our students. We would like to hear your thoughts since this transformation will effect EWU as a whole.
