SUMMARY:First Year Seminar Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a Town Hall event to learn about the details of the new and revised First Year Seminar program. The focus of the revision is to make these classes engaging and relevant to student’s interests and support freshmen in their first courses to make a successful transition to college and increase retention. We will start recruiting faculty to teach these classes in the Fall 2023 quarter soon\, and we will discuss the criteria and application process as well at the Town Hall. Please see the attached document for more details\, and please bring your questions to the Town Hall.
