DESCRIPTION:Zoom Link: https://ewu.zoom.us/j/195221575 \nPlease join us at the Faculty Commons for a presentation titled “Why Assessment?” by Dr. Phil Kramer\, candidate for the Director of Assessment and Accreditation. There will be time for Q&A following Dr. Kramer ‘s presentation. This is an important opportunity for faculty to provide input into the future of assessment and accreditation on our campus. \nThe Director of Assessment and Accreditation will\, among other things\, be responsible for facilitating and supporting engagement by university\, college and program leadership in regular\, systematic participatory\, self-reflective\, and evidence-based assessment of its accomplishments and challenges. S/he will also ensure assessments and results of assessments of programs and services are based on meaningful institutionally identified indicators of achievement\, used for improvement by forming planning\, decision making and allocation of resources and capacity\, and made available to appropriate constituencies in a timely manner. \nAll candidate forums will be 12-12:50 in the Faculty Commons. \nCV for Dr. Phil Kramer
