SUMMARY:All Faculty Brown Bag 4: Transparent Teaching
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in helping your students understand the how and why of their learning? Would you like to know how to make your course assignments more transparent to ensure better student work? \nPlease join us at the Faculty Commons\, or via Zoom\, for the fourth All Faculty Brown Bag: Transparent Teaching\, facilitated by and Dr. Justin Young\, Associate Professor and Director of English Composition Program & Writers’ Center and Dr. Liya Deng\, Assistant Professor\, Library. \nTransparent teaching principles emphasize clarity and precision (why and how) when creating course assignments to make learning a more meaningful activity for both students and instructors.
