‘Doing the Work’<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Are you an employee who understands that creating belonging is a continuous process of learning through reflection and challenging bias? Then this is the program for you!
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please register, and we will send you additional information about how to earn units towards your Doing the Work placard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Program Details<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • \u2018Doing the Work\u2019 is an advanced development program designed for faculty, administrators, and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participants must complete six (6) Belonging Advancement Units (BAUs) within a fiscal year, from July 1 to June 30, through activities that advance belonging such as workshops, readings, and\/or programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Each event, activity, or program counts for a maximum of 1 BAU.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Upon Completion of six (6) BAUs, participants will:\n
      \n
    • Receive a placard for \u2018Doing the Work\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Be recognized in a special fall ceremony.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Earn an electronic badge to add to their email signature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      ‘Doing the Work’ Learning Log Details<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • The Learning Log is designed to help participants track their progress toward earning the \u2018Doing the Work\u2019 placard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Record each event, activity, or program in the log to track your progress toward the six (6) BAUs required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • When logging an event\/activity you will:\n
          \n
        • Reflect on your learning in creating belonging and how you will apply your knowledge at EWU.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The log is based on the honor system. You are trusted to log your participation honestly and accurately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
