The Elementary Education Program is a six quarter program culminating with a quarter of full-time student teaching. Students may apply to begin the Program fall, winter, spring, or summer quarter. Completion of this Program satisfies the State of Washington endorsement for teaching Kindergarten through grade 8. All Elementary candidates will choose a major, and a minor may be added if a second area of endorsement is desired.
Required coursework and major and minor options are listed below. It will be indicated if a content area is an endorsement area. Please note that if you select a major which is not endorsed, you may wish to pursue it in conjunction with the Elementary Education major to receive endorsement in grades K-8.
