Nutrition: Put Your Best Fork Forward at EWU
A balanced, nutritious diet is at the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. The food you eat directly impacts your energy, focus, and ability to perform at your best. Dining Services recognizes that students are unique with varied palates, so we strive to provide a variety of choices at all of our locations, including healthy and locally procured foods whenever possible. In addition, a Registered Dietitian is employed by Dining Services to assist students in finding a balance in their food choices on campus.
Natalie Stine is the Campus Dietitian with EWU Dining & Catering Services. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2015 and became credentialed as a registered dietitian in 2016.
As the registered dietitian for dining services, Natalie oversees the nutrition and sustainability portion of the Dining and Catering Services Department. Whether you are student with food allergies, a collegiate athlete looking to learn how to fuel properly for the demands of their sport, or just an individual looking for help on how to navigate the dining facilities for healthy options, Natalie is here to help! The best part, Natalie’s services and advice are free to students. A similar session would be out of range for most students’ budgets.
Natalie will help you make sense of all of the nutrition information seen in today’s media and develop an individualized eating plan with your goals in mind. Natalie’s focus as a dietitian includes intuitive eating and a non-diet approach.
