Plan 2 - Basic Skills
All applicants who do not currently hold a valid Washington State teaching certificate must provide evidence that they have met the basic skills requirement. Basic skills include Reading, Writing, and Math. Applicants can submit this evidence in one of two ways. Both options will require that official records be sent for evaluation before acceptance.
Option 1
An Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Option 2
Passing West-B scores -OR- equivalent ACT or SAT scores.
