The USO has been the nation\u2019s leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back to their communities, the USO is always by their side.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-246\" src=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/civicengagement\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/207\/2018\/11\/uso2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"268\" height=\"188\" \/>The USO is not part of the federal government. We\u2019re not a government agency. We rely on supporters like you to fund the programs that make the biggest difference for those who serve. One can donate in many ways however, for teachers the two that would apply and work the best for teachers and class projects. One is Gifts in Honor or Memory of Loved One<br \/>\nHonor someone special by making a gift to the USO in his or her name. An honor gift is a meaningful way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, holiday or the memory of a loved one.
