\nThe Ezra Project is an organization that is building a home in Guatemala named The Isaiah 58 Home. This will be a place for orphans and for mothers in need. While meeting basic human needs, the home seeks to provide education for these children, and most importantly, help them grow spiritually.<\/p>\n

\"\"There are many children who are orphaned in Guatemala. Some are abandoned, while others do not have any surviving parents who can take care of them. The Ezra Project seeks to create a safe place where children can grow up knowing they are loved and valued. The organization will also be a place for mothers in need. Many women are victims of underage marriage and\/or human trafficking and end up having no place to go to raise their children and very few options for supporting their families. The Isaiah 58 home can help mothers and their children by giving them a place to stay and helping them become self-sufficient, able to support their families. Partnering with this organization, teachers can help bridge the gap between cultures, helping students understand that they are part of a global community. Students can see how they can help other children grow healthy, receive an education and become responsible citizens within their own communities.<\/p>\n

Teachers and their students could partner with The Ezra Project by raising funds to support the home, participating in clothing drives, sending letters and many other creative possibilities.
