There are three different food formulas that they make. The Manna Pack Rice has a good source of protein, carbohydrates, and key nutrients that all countries accept. The Manna Pack Potato-D includes fortified potato and soy meal that helps people suffering with diarrhea and can be used for all age ranges even children 6-24 months old. The last food formula that they have is the Manna Pack Potato-W. This pack focuses on children 7-12 months old and it compliments breast feeding. Teachers should consider partnering with Feed My Starving Children because it makes a difference in so many children’s lives and can be very powerful in their classroom.

Ways that you could partner with this organization is by volunteering. There are specific states that have packing locations but if you are not in those states, you can go to their mobile packing locations. If you are in the states that have packing locations, you can even have a speaker come into your classroom and discuss the importance of this organization.

Feed My Starving Children was founded in 1987.
