There are two types: fixed and growth. Carol Dweck has conducted numerous studies on mindset. Take a look at what she found.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fixed Mindset<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>These individuals believe their basic qualities (i.e. intelligence or talent) are fixed, static, and unable to change.<\/li>\n<li>Subsequently, they&#8230;..\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid challenges<\/li>\n<li>Give up easily<\/li>\n<li>See their effort as fruitless<\/li>\n<li>Ignore useful criticism and feedback<\/li>\n<li>Feel threatened by the success of others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>These individuals will achieve less than their full potential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Growth Mindset<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individuals with a growth mindset believe their most basic abilities can be developed through hard work and dedication. Brains and talent are just the starting point.
