Step 4: How to Use SLOs in Teaching

The third step in the assessment cycle is to provide learning activities that will enable students to develop the skills and acquire the knowledge needed for them to master the PLOs prior to graduation. This is most effectively done through what education scholars call "learning-centered design," among a number of other names some of which are used below. On this page, you will find resources on how to design learning-centered courses and programs.
