The event, Trauma-Informed Practices: Meeting the Needs of our Community, is scheduled from 5:30-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 22 in Patterson 126.

The EWU Education Department is hosting a professional development opportunity to discuss trauma-informed practices in our community. It will start with a panel discussion from community partners who will describe resources and actions necessary for addressing trauma in our schools. Then, organizers will show the documentaries Paper Tigers (for those serving adolescents) and Resilience (for those serving early childhood and elementary aged children). The evening will conclude with a brief Q&A.
