Hunger and Homelessness Awareness

The Office of Community Engagement is dedicated to combating hunger and homelessness on our campus and in our community. Issues such as food insecurity and poverty are complex and problematic. To address these issues, our office provides students with volunteer opportunities at Feed Cheney, Second Harvest, and local shelters that are educational and meaningful. In addition to volunteer opportunities, our office supports a team of student leaders committed to addressing hunger and homelessness. Our commitment to providing access to food has resulted in a Food Pantry system that will serve food-insecure students.

If you want to become involved, contact Libby Vigil by email CEAmericorps@ewu.edu or by phone 509.359.4006.
